Job Description : COVID-19 Rapid Test Clinic – Site Manager

Position Overview:
Our testing sites are typically open Monday – Friday from 8AM – 6PM and Saturday/Sunday from 9AM – 5PM. Site Managers and Assistant Managers will be expected to collectively cover the site from open to close.

The responsible SITE MANAGER will lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the rapid testing site. This leader is an extension of our GS Labs leadership teams. This person will have responsibility for scheduling and oversight of staff; ensuring all protocol and procedures are followed; providing a safe and customer-focused experience; and ensuring performance targets are achieved.

The incumbent of this position should have the ability to effectively lead others in a high stress environment and maintain structure and order. This person must also have vision and ability to influence and motivate a team. You will play a key role with ensure our testing site’s smooth operation.

Responsibilities:
Leads staff and coordinates overall workflow for a facility of up to 20 personnel
Ensure accurate paperwork and recordkeeping
Ensure procedures are followed so that patient notification, state notification, and insurance notification are processed timely and in compliance with law requirements
Lead the utilization of medical and accounting software
Ensure patient information is reported in timely and accurate manner in applicable systems
Put in place an audit program to ensure 100% accuracy
Ensure overall responsibility and ownership of operating the site
Ensure Lab and test processing functions are followed per protocol in a clean, safe, and detailed manner
Oversee RN staff and their supporting runners to ensure patients are provided with positive, safe testing experience
May be asked to answer the office phone and direct patient inquiries appropriately
May be asked to be the liaison between vendors and technology supply providers if something goes down (e.g. software, printer, etc.)
May be asked to collaborate with doctors and nurses to stage test/lab supplies or patient forms prior to testing
Is expected to ensure compliance with procedures and the maintenance of confidential health information practices
Is responsible for the safe keeping and cleanliness of physical work location

Skills and Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; additional education strongly preferred
At least 2 years management/leadership experience over an hourly workforce (or applicable equivalent – e.g. military) preferably in a medical or high-compliance environment
Must be able to type quickly and accurately; must be excellent on a computer
Must possess 4 years of experience with computer programs in a business setting; experience with accounting and medical software is a plus (preferred experience with Point of Sales (POS) or appointment booking software along with timeclock and scheduling software)
Knowledge of healthcare operations is a plus
Familiarity with medical and insurance is preferred
Proven experience planning staffing/scheduling, customer scheduling, and effectively running an operation is required
Customer-oriented communication skills required; must communicate effectively – verbally and written
Ability to multi-task and maintain precise organization in a fast-paced environment required
Must be able to maintain emotional composure and work collaboratively with other members of the team
Must be able to effectively partner and work with medical staff (RN, Charge Nurse, other medical support staff)
Ability to follow directions and routine process well plus guide others in doing the same
This position requires manual dexterity plus the ability to listen, read, write, and type. The incumbent must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; will work on the computer, move throughout the site. Must be able to walk, sit, stand, kneel, and move about in safe, fast paced manner around moving vehicles.
The incumbent of this position must show up to work in a timely fashion, possess good hygiene, and be responsible for properly wearing any applicable PPE
Candidate should dress business casual or wear medical scrubs; may be patient-facing and must present a professional image. Because these positions are near a door with heavy traffic flow, candidates are encouraged to dress warm or bring a jacket
