The ACH Servicing Team is part of the American Express Savings Operations group. We are a fast paced, close knit team supporting a high-volume of monetary transactions for American Express National Bank, Amex Savings and affiliates. The daily work includes Quality Testing of the systems colleagues for process/procedures, ACH transactions, validation of Fed ACH activity, monitoring of ACH files, reviewing complaints, etc. These activities are highly regulated and scrutinized by Compliance, Internal and External audit as well as Federal Regulators, therefore we must ensure proper due diligence is performed.
Daily Job Responsibilities:
Support Customer First philosophy by ensuring professional handling/testing of the systems and colleague processes for our New Banking Products. .
Monitoring of the daily ACH files to and from the FED.
Maintain quality metrics for assigned Quality Analyst functions.
Assistance/Backup to the Complaint Processes/Reporting
Adhere to all compliance and PRSA controls

Could also include various other responsibilities within Operations based on overall needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and build relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with customer account information.
Demonstrated complex problem solving, decision making skills, and follow-through skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Conflict resolution skills.
Phone etiquette skills.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Strong team orientation required; must be capable of contributing and succeeding in a team-based environment
Able to adjust and succeed in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Must be flexible and adjust to schedule and adapt to the changing needs of the department
Ability to multitask (talk, type, navigate).
Must have PC/Windows-based software experience and proficient in various Microsoft applications including but not limited to Outlook, Word and Excel
Excellent customer service skills
Must be extremely detail oriented
Strong analytical skill set
2+ years’ experience in Operations or Banking preferred
