Position : Insurance Claim and Administrative Agent
Job Description : ObjectiveThe position is responsible for processing insurance claims within our portfolio. This individual must understand PAC’s contractual terms and policies in order to assess the risk of financial loss and work claims accordingly. Additionally, there are several administrative duties required such as data entry and mail processing. Must be able to communicate well with difficult customers; insurance counterparts; and also co-workers. Work in a team setting where you will communicate well with co-workers. Maintain a high level of confidentiality due to sensitive information handled.Position Requirements and QualificationsSelf-motivated, detailed and organized. Excellent typing and computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong work ethic. Polite, courteous and clear telephone communication is required. Previous insurance, or collection experience preferred, but not required. Must be goal oriented.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for scanning insurance documents.Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner.Assists working insurance claims: verifying repairs have been completed, verifying location of vehicles, verifying total loss details, providing information to third party insurance companies, etc.Responsible for contacting customers regarding insurance claims.Responsible for reviewing and processing consumer credit disputes and updates.Responsible for maintaining spreadsheet data in relation to duties.Assists Department Manager with any additional tasks within the Insurance and Admin Departments when necessary.Acts in place as Department Manager in Managers absence.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location:One locationWork Location: One location
