Job Description : Achilles USA is looking for a graveyard Production Supervisor to join our production team. The primary responsibilities of this supervisor will be to oversee and coordinate personnel to meet production goals, analyze reports and problem solve. A successful candidate would be extremely organized, enjoy managing others and not afraid to roll their sleeves up. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that wants to grow their leadership skills in a manufacturing setting.Achilles USA’s core business is to manufacture specialized plastic films that are used in thousands of products and hundreds of industries. Our films are produced using PVC, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, or Urethane. The applications vary from IMAX Movie Screens to Medical Devices. The parent company of Achilles USA (The Achilles Corporation) is a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of specialized plastic films and synthetic leather.Essential Responsibilities: Oversees team members and is accountable for results in areas of safety, quality, production efficiency, training and development of subordinate personnel.Responsible for quality monitoring to ensure products being produced meet requirements, internal and external.Assign or delegate responsibility for specified work or functional activities and industrial establishment. Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives.Give work directions, resolves problems, prepares schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.Monitor and analyzes costs and prepares budget, using computer.Prepare reports and records on department activities for management, using computer.Develop and implements procedures and practices for accomplishing continuous improvement of company and department objectives.May initiate or authorize employee hire, promotion, discharge or transfer. Workers are designated according to functions, activities, or type of department managed.Coordinate weekly crew meetings and participates in other meetings as necessary.Aide in the development of quality specifications and standards.QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Training: BA Management or 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environmentExperience: 3 + years production supervisory experience preferred.Skills/Aptitude: Excellent communication skills, able to facilitate change.Working Conditions: Factory and office environment.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:12 hour shiftDay shiftNight shiftWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)Shift availability:Overnight Shift (Preferred)Day Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
