Job Description : Axis Architects, an architectural practice and real estate development firm in Salt Lake City, is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. Include process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate is familiar with QuickBooks Desktop. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company. This position will be 20 hours a week.ResponsibilitiesRecord day to day financial transactions and complete the posting processVerify that transactions are recorded in the Company File and Project LedgerPerform partial checks of the posting processProcess accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely mannerSkillsProven bookkeeping experienceSolid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordsData entry skills along with a knack for numbersHands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary softwareProficiency in English and in MS OfficeCustomer service orientation and negotiation skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailBachelors in AccountingMust be Proficient in QuickBooks DesktopJob Type: Part-timePay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:Workstations are 6 feet apart.All surfaces sanitized daily.Ability to commute/relocate:Salt Lake City, UT 84111: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Associate (Preferred)Experience:Bookkeeping: 2 years (Required)Work Location: One location
