Come be a part of SMT’s recently created Growth Innovation and Strategy team, responsible for delivering inspirational experiences and visionary thought leadership, high value scenarios, programs, and growth strategy & planning across our innovative portfolio driving the next new business categories and revenue streams in Microsoft.
Responsibilities
We are in startup mode and seek a dynamic leader to build a new Community and Web engagement team responsible for the following:
Manage: Build and lead a high performing team of innovative marketing professionals to deliver and execute a community engagement strategy encompassing events, web, influencer and outreach programs.
Events: Create all up SMT events plan and strategy, inclusive of virtual and in-person events and experiences to land SMT thought leadership narratives and key business growth scenarios and build excitement with target communities and audiences. Collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders to integrate SMT thought leadership messaging and executive voices into key events.
Influencer and Community: Build a community advocacy program by architecting and executing new strategic frameworks and identifying channels through which SMT can nurture individual and association influencer relationships.
Web: Design innovative web experiences to bring SMT narratives to life and showcase SMT portfolio of innovation.
Measure: Partner with Business Operations team to create comprehensive monthly reporting & insights to shape narratives and experiences.
Qualifications
7+ years in event marketing leadership roles targeting Business Decision Maker and Developer audiences.
7+ years managing teams of 5+ people
Undergraduate degree.
US Citizen.
Proven success in creating innovative programs for BDM and eveloper audiences, as well as building and nurturing relationships with influential policy and decision makers.
Ability to design and connect multiple engagement points to create a comprehensive and cohesive customer journey.
Ability to optimize results to drive maximum impact using a data-driven approach to marketing.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills with a proven track record in driving results by inspiring others to take action.
A pro-active self-starter with experience leading and driving multiple complex, global projects spanning different businesses and disciplines.
Proven success in bringing new ideas to fruition.
Passion for technology and the business impact it can drive for customers.
Proven success in working in highly ambiguous environments and working across diverse slate of stakeholders.
