Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of laboratory specimens, while providing superior customer service to our clients. This entails driving a maximum of two (2) routes, which may include a routine (standard) route, and/or a specialty route.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe and timely transport of specimens, supplies, reports, equipment, and materials to the appropriate destinations.
Operating the company vehicle safely by abiding by and obeying all traffic and safety rules, as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license and driving record within acceptable company guidelines.
Using a handheld scanner, perform a sequenced route servicing multiple locations, maintaining specimen integrity, both type and temperature, while adhering to all OSHA standards for biohazard transport. .

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education Requirement:
High school diploma/GED strongly preferred, or commensurate work experience required.
Work Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience in a laboratory / biomedical related job career field, customer service or, logistics, or delivery related job is strongly preferred.
Comfort level with handheld scanner equipment is strongly preferred.
Temperature management
General computer knowledge is preferred.
