We are looking for a self starter who is comfortable creating content and considers themselves to be creative. Ideal candidates are graduated with a bachelors in marketing or related field. As social media manager you will be responsible for helping curate social media feeds and the overall strategy of social channels. The Social Media Manager needs to be aware of social media trends, best practices, and viral marketing and act quickly on these to be successful in this position.
Job Responsibilities:
Be hands on in creating content for various social media platforms
Help in curate social feeds
Understand and present data to upper management for platforms
Be able to think quick and be witty with caption writing
Assist in creative content creation and strategy for social media
Be able to manage your own schedule to meet deadlines
Work regularly after hours and weekends
Be able to manager multiple social strategies on different pages with success
Manager team members
. Requirements:
Qualifications:
Degree in marketing or a related field preferred
2 + years of experience in social media marketing
Excellent writing and editing skills
Ability to succeed in a quick pace environment
Has created content that can be presented
Very detail oriented
Willing to grow and accept constructive criticism on content
Understanding and passion for use of social platforms including not limited to Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest, and Tiktok
1+ year of managing a team preferred
Compensation
Pay depends on experience
Position is full time hourly pay
