Position : Practice Administrator

Job Description : Job Description: Top-tier private retina practice in Salt Lake City UT is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to direct all areas of administration of the practice:

Directs and coordinates activities of physicians, nursing and administrative staffs and services.
Identifies staffing needs and recruits for all open positions.
Directs hiring and training of personnel.
Monitor and guide employee performance.
Defines and implements office policies and procedures for various practice activities.
Defines and manages clinic schedules, including staffing.
Evaluates and negotiates for improvement of and additions to practice property and equipment and manages procurement processes.
Manages all aspects of financials, including A/R, A/P, and P/R, including A/R for clinical research studies.
Manages all human resources and benefits matters.
Scrutinizes and negotiates agreements for all clinical research trials.
Manages payor and contract negotiations and implementation.
Managed compliance including MACRA and serves as the Security Officer for the practice.
Liaison to legal counsel and CPA for corporate matters.
Governs IT management.
Manages contracts and works as liaison with satellite offices.
Maintains continuity among physician, nursing and administrative staffs by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
Oversees business development and marketing endeavors, including website and materials.
Practice uses an airplane to transport team to satellite locations – position provides oversight of all aspects of the airplane staffing and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and at least five years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. As Practice Administrator, this individual must:

Have excellent analytical, problem-solving, customer service, communication, and project management skills.
Be able to inspire respect and trust within the team and able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
Exhibit sound and accurate judgment.
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
