*This position is for the 2022/2023 School Year* JOB TITLE: Receptionist-High School JOB GOAL: To act as confidential receptionist to District office staff, to assure the efficient operation of the District office and contribute to the effective, prompt and courteous handling of all inquiries and visitors. QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.

General clerical skills.

Exceptional public relations skills.

Ability to handle front office environment.

Must pass fingerprint and background clearance.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., be able to exert 25 –30 lbs. of force frequently, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, and to sit for long periods of time.

Must obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 228 days (11 Months) COMPENSATION: $13.85 – $19.08 BENEFITS: As per District policy REPORTS TO: Principal HOURS: 40 hours per week CLASSIFICATION: Non – Exempt
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

Responsible for opening and closing the front office daily.

Places and receives telephone calls, and records messages.

Orders and maintains supplies as needed.

Assists in office with appointments, calls, etc.

Welcomes visitors and arranges for their comfort and screens unexpected callers in accordance with pre-determined policy.

Receives and processes hiring forms.

Processes and distributes incoming/outgoing mail.

Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of district business.

Serves as liaison to school offices in emergencies

Updates applicant tracking system with new/revised applications.

Operates and monitors all office equipment.

Maintains a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files, and processes correspondence as instructed.

Accepts payments and issues receipts.

Completes fingerprinting and badge for new employees.

Other duties as assigned.
