Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems is looking for Associate Quality Analyst to join our Supply Chain Quality team at the Promontory UT, Facility.
Description & Responsibilities:

The position will support all Propulsions System campuses (Promontory, Clearfield, Bacchus, Kennedy Space Center).
The chief duties will include Cause and Corrective action coordination internally as well as with suppliers. Engineering evaluation to determine if the engineering is in a state to have purchase requisitions completed by PQEs.
Understanding interfaces in MRP system and engineering systems to balance workload across all PQEs.
Work with PQEs (Procurement Quality Engineers) to develop and implement quality standard works and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.
Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to procurement, assembly, process, mechanical, and chemical parts and materials.
Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, supplier and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.

Qualification/Education

Highschool Graduate

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with quality systems
Experience with supply chain and suppliers
Knowledge of MRP and governing principles

Salary Range: $48,600 USD – $73,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
