Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY:
Ken Garff Automotive is looking for a positive and dynamic Executive Assistant/Admin. This is a unique opportunity to support a remarkable leader of a family owned, extremely stable (90-years) and growing company. Responsibilities will range from basic tasks to mission critical assignments. The incumbent ideally has the humility and initiative to deliver results in both circumstances. This position can be largely remote but “homebase” will be at our beautiful Salt Lake City headquarters at the base of the Wasatch Mountains and close to all outdoor activities, great city life and the greatest snow on earth. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform administrative duties for the CEO and Shareholders in both personal and business activities.
Support the CEO in calendaring and organizing schedules to optimize his time and effectiveness
Assist in directing the communication to and from the CEO.
Effectively and efficiently manage business and personal data in a proactive and timely manner
Plan and execute corporate, business, community and personal events for the CEO.
Assist the CEO in his efforts to connect with employees, customers and others through gifts, letters, and other edifying expressions.
Coordinate meetings, events, or conferences by arranging for facilities and caterer, issuing information or invitations, and coordinating presenters.
Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents.
Create and maintain database and spreadsheet files.
Travel arrangements for the CEO and other leaders will be an important task for this role. Care should be taken to minimize the impact of travel on the leaders and maximize their time in more important matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate has measurable success in a similar role. This is not an entry level position. Exceptional communication and organization skills will be required to be successful in this role. Abilities with both Apple and Microsoft products will also be very helpful. Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook and Mac IOS will be used consistently.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Mostly office environment.
