Job Description : Premier Family Medical hires kind, positive, patient advocates who enjoy working with patients in a professional atmosphere. This is a Medical Assistant position for the following locations: Saratoga Springs & Eagle Mountain.This position is approximately 8:15 am to 6 pm Monday – Friday. This position is full time. On the job training provided!Job Description:Coordinates with clinic staff to ensure a positive patient flow, waiting room, and exam room experienceVerifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit.Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary.Saves provider’s time by helping with office procedures.Monitor, clean and sanitize assigned patient examination rooms, unit areas and unit equipment; reports outdated supplies, stock levels and restock set levels of items and necessary equipment repairsSecures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Perform other duties as assigned by Office LeadPay depending on experienceJob Types: Full-timePay: $14.00 – $18.50 per hourJob Type: Full-timePay: $14.00 – $18.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):Are you available to work Monday – Friday 8-6pm?Experience:Medical assisting: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)Work Location: One location
