Are you looking for an opportunity to grow and expand your skills? If so then this may be the position for you’re looking for. The Public Service Commission (PSC) is looking for just such an individual to fill an Accounting Technician III position.
This is a senior level job. The employee will work independently under minimal supervision. Accounting activities may include accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, revenues, taxes, audit research and other related accounting tasks that may include:
Preparing and processing a variety of accounting documents and transactions.
Maintaining accounts.
Supporting professional staff, such as accountants, budget officers, auditors, processing services managers, collections managers and others.
Reconcile bank accounts.
Compliance with procurement policies.
Reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy.
Performing adjustments to data and accounts.
Preparing reports.
Creating, filing and retrieving files.
Preference
Preference may be given to applicants who:
Have a 4-year college degree or higher in an accounting field
