Job Description : Tour Guide/Driver Epic 4×4 Adventures, an off road adventure company in Moab, Utah, will hire and train two qualified off road enthusiasts to add to our team of UTV guiding professionals. Our guide is responsible for leading up to 5 other UTVs with guests driving. This includes guests with all skill levels and all levels of comfort off road driving Moab’s unique terrain.No guide experience is necessary. We prefer to train the right person to guide using the methods that we have developed. We are known for more extreme trails and taking the aggressive lines. This is not putt-putt golf-cart touring company. We use top UTVs for all our riders and guides so we can safely offer an epic experience.You must be personable and very comfortable around people. You must be a leader. We require someone that can take charge of a group to show them how to safely operate their UTV and navigate obstacles while showing them a great time.If you have a love for off roading with a “never met a stranger” personality and would like to share that with visitors to Moab, this opportunity might be a great match for you and an amazing experience.Professional off road guiding will be your primary responsibility with some responsibility to clean/prep vehicles, greet guests, check-in guests and book reservations occasionally.After training, you can expect between 25 and 40 hours per week for the remainder of the 2022 season. We anticipate operating until just before Christmas, weather and trail conditions permitting.Wages + tips average $30+ dollars per hour. Starting base wage is $17 per hour. After successful completion of our training program base wage will increase $1 to $4/hour based on experience and performance.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hourSupplemental Pay:TipsExperience:Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)off-road driving: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)Work Location: One location
