The Private Banking Operations Check Deposit Team provides operational processing support for banking products offered to Morgan Stanley clients. The department’s responsibilities include daily operational support for branch deposited checks and checks deposited via the mobile application.
Responsibilities
Process deposits to client and house accounts received from branches and other operations teamsEnsure receipt and disposition of all physical checks are appropriately logged, scanned and actionedSupport inquiries and requests related to check deposits from branches via case management and call centersCreate and distribute daily and ad hoc reportsReview, accept, reject, modify deposits for acceptability using deposits workflow toolPerform transactional adjustments to client accounts requiring corrections.Assist with deposits system testing, as necessaryAssist with system enhancement or new product efforts related to deposits processingEnsure compliance with deposits processing procedures and controls
QUALIFICATIONSExcellent written and verbal communication skillsClient-centric and a Team Oriented playerStrong problem solving and analytical skillsMust be detail oriented as well as a logical and proactive thinkerStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-taskMust be able to work under pressure in a time sensitive environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
