Job Description : Job DescriptionOur busy Pediatric Medical Office in West Jordan is looking for a full time medical assistant. (Full time – 40 hours/week, to include 1 evening/wk and weekend rotation). This is a fun and rewarding position working with children and our wonderful providers.ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible to prepare patients for exams, accurately take vital signs, record information and schedule tests and procedures. This position is also responsible to obtain prior authorizations when needed and make timely call backs. Other duties as assigned.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, friendly and a team player. Must be proficient on the computer, have excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and parents. MA certification is required and prior pediatric experience is a plus.
