Position : Customer Service Representative
Job Description : Specialty Disposal Services, Inc. (SDS) is currently seeking a positive, detail orientated Customer Service Rep with_ environmental and/or logistical background_ for our Mountain Lakes, NJ location. As part of our Customer Service team candidate would receive and process calls & will serve as the end-to-end point of contact for customers. This individual will resolve customer issues, and assist our Technicians and Sales/accounting staff. They will need to collaborate with the SDS team to meet overall client objectives and to exceed our customers’ expectations.Responsibilities: Fulfill Customer service requests of high and low level complexity independently and/or with SDS team.Communicate concise and accurate information.Confirm understanding of customer needs, issues, and requests.Serve as the customer’s advocate by solving problems on the customer’s behalf by engaging the right department and people within SDS.Escalate more complex issues to appropriate level.Use authorized system to gather information, provide information, and/or update customer records.Complete approval paperwork for clientsPrepare detailed information to improve technicians on site job performance.Qualifications :High school diploma requiredPrevious experience in a fast-paced Customer Service environment/ trucking industry a must;Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;Ability to prioritize and multi-task;Strong organizational skills;Superior communication and interpersonal skills.Individuals with Disabilities and Protected Veterans encouraged to apply.SDS is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and a drug-free workplace.Job Type: Full-timeJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):Do you know Microsoft Office, especially excel and word?Work Location: One location
