The Role: Editorial Production Associate
Grade : 8
The Location: Ahmedabad – India
Working Shift: 2 Pm to 11 Pm IST, 11 Pm to 8 Am IST (Rotational)
The Team : The Design and Production team is a small, dedicated group based in the UK, Singapore and US producing thousands of graphics a year across nearly 100 different publications and channels.
The Impact:
You will collaborate with content editors to produce and deliver highly-templated daily, weekly and bi-weekly and monthly newsletters using Adobe InDesign and Platts’ in-house content management systems in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Time management and a sense of urgency are just as critical as a keen eye for design and strong software skills.

As an integral part of the team, working with all the Platts’ commodity sectors, you will be challenged on a daily basis to use the full force of your creativity. There are also opportunities to work on special projects and a wide variety of ad hoc work as your experience develops.
Responsibilities:
Layout daily, weekly, bi- weekly and monthly newsletters working closely with editor(s)
Ensure relevant tables, graphics for newsletters are published
Meet all relevant delivery deadlines
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience into the publications
You have an excellent grasp of English (both oral and written)
Kindly attach your Portfolio along with the Resume while submitting the application
You are an Adobe InDesign expert
You have a working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
You like working in a deadline-driven atmosphere
You have experience working in a newsroom or magazine
You prioritize effectively and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
You learn quickly and work independently with no direct supervision
You can keep a clear head in a fast-moving working environment
You are personable and able to communicate openly with a variety of people with different needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Agile mindset, lean & Automation would be an added advantage
College/University degree in Art & Design
