We’re a small team of casual people who love aviation, outdoor activities and mostly Alaska! While most of your day will be focused on purchasing you will also support the accounting coordinator. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced and hardworking team.

In the purchasing agent position, you will:
Obtain quotes, issue purchase orders, and ensure that deliveries are made on time; contact vendors and inform management when there are discrepancies.
Compare quotations and negotiate with vendors to obtain material at the lowest cost while meeting quality and delivery requirements.
Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and company personnel.
Develop a network of multiple vendors for all key materials to ensure that we are always getting competitive pricing and delivery.
Research, qualify and develop new vendors.
Monitor and process the AP email, invoice/receipt entry and account coding, weekly payables reporting, ensure proper approvals, process weekly payments, ensure recurring bills are accounted for.
Reconcile weekly shipping invoices to sales order and purchase order numbers
Match invoices to purchase orders
Key Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher preferred
2-5 years of purchasing/accounting experience for a small business, manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge of manufacturing industry preferred
Outstanding organizational skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
Detail oriented with a strong commitment to supporting and working within a team environment.
